- China National Residents Survey (CNRS) expands from 36 to 60 cities across China
- Worldpanel China has completed its panel expansion from 13,500 to 17,500 households. The plan also includes universal barcode scanner and further panel upgrades. Its national panel will reach 40,000 families by 2010.
- CTR is awarded ISO 20252 accreditation, an international standard of quality for organizations conducting market, opinion and social research.

- Mr. Tian Tao, VP of CTR and China’s media industry expert, is re-elected as the Vice Chairman of the 5th China Advertising Association Council. CTR is the exclusive representative from the market research sector.
